Register to SpanishMango.com to buy boxes of our products or sponsor your tree.
Our trees are sponsored temporarily for a year. That is, if you sponsor in February this year, your sponsorship will be valid until February next year. If you decide to opt for sponsorship + two boxes of mango (mangos which come from your tree), you will have the right to what is harvested during that season (September-October) when the mangos are readily ripened.
The sooner you sponsor your tree, the sooner you will be able to start enjoying the experience of cultivating your own mango tree! You will get to enjoy your tree with its name or a personalised name of your choice with the possibility of enjoying the special recipes that we will periodically send you as well as information about the evolution of your tree (the flowering and growth of the mangos).
Additionally you will receive a monthly photograph via email showing you the current status of your tree so that you can appreciate seeing how the tree and your mangos grow. We repeat, your mangos, as they belong to the tree sponsored by you.
Our objective is to ensure that you and your family are satisfied and to build a lasting relationship that will allow you to enjoy this delicious fruit for years to come. You will also of course be able to check up on the status of your tree at any time and you will be more than welcome to come and visit as well if you wish!
You have 7 days to cancel your order and to receive a full reimbursement of the amount paid.
It is important to note that mangos are a natural product and in being so, are affected by their environment. The climate of the Costa Tropical is quite mild but that has not prevented there being frosts or heavy rains that have created complications when it comes to the harvesting of the fruit, although it is quite rare.
In the event of a similar occurrence, the sponsorship contract would be extended an extra year, and it is guaranteed that no two seasons are alike.
Normally in the region of La Axarquía on the Costa Tropical in the south of Spain, the cold starts the end of December (once the mangos have been harvested) continuing on through to the month of February, although the use of the word ¨cold¨ is relative as the temperature drops to about 10ºC-12ºC during the winter months. It is not in vain that this region is known for having the best climate in Europe with over 300 days of sun a year (which was recently recorded in a study in the village of Torrox near Nerja).
